What's more, special features designed into the WD-82837 give you the control to customize these colors for optimal, lifelike video reproduction. Okay, now, what's this business about billions of colors. Well, the tag team of x.v.Color and Deep Color allows the WD-82837's screen to display such a large number of colors by expanding the supported color gamut (the work of x.v.Color) and by broadening the color spectrum used to represent the graphical image data being sent to your screen (thank you, Deep Color). Further, Deep Color allows for smooth transitions between color shades, thus eliminating color banding and other visual artifacts for a sharper, more lifelike image. Additionally, a 6-color processor enhances the WD-82837's color capacity by producing brighter colors, a wider range of colors, and whiter whites. Finally, giving you the control to customize the image you see, the WD-82837 offers PerfectColor. A full color matrix, this technology lets you adjust the intensity of six separate colors independently of each other and separately for each of the TV's inputs.
