What are Direct View Televisions?
Direct-view televisions use a CRT and a scanning electronic gun to "paint" an image on a phosphor coated screen. Also known as “tube” TVs direct view TVs have smaller screen sizes and are rapidly losing favor among consumers as LCD TVs have dropped in price over the years.
