What is Floor Standing Speaker?
Floor-standing, or tower speakers are larger speakers which will occupy a place on the floor, preferably equidistant from the center speaker. They will reproduce substantially more of the frequency range and are designed to create a soundstage, along with the center speaker, which accurately reproduces the sounds of the onscreen action or the nuances of a classical music score with equal capability. They can easily be used independently of the surround sound system for stereo playback of music.
