What are In-Wall and In-Ceiling Speakers?
In-Wall or In-Ceiling speakers are designed to be installed, as their name indicates, inside your wall or ceiling. They are mounted flush with the wall and as they can be painted to the same color a the wall or ceiling paint they can be virtually invisible to the eye. They can be used as front, side, or rear speakers. Some in-wall or in-ceiling subwoofers are also available. Use of recessed speakers can free up floor or shelf space that a bookshelf or tower speaker might otherwise occupy.
