What is Pixel?
A pixel (a term derived from a shortening of the term Picture Element)is the smallest item of information in an image. Pixels are normally arranged in a 2-dimensional grid, and are often represented using dots, squares, or rectangles. It is the number of pixels on the screen which determine the TVs Display Resolution.
