| A compact active subwoofer designed specifically to complement 300 Series models, the ASW300 features a 200mm (8 in) driver having an extremely rigid cone, to withstand the large forces generated by dynamic bass signals. Its output is reinforced by a down-firing Flowport, B&W's familiar dimpled port design that reduces turbulence noise to negligible levels. The 100W amplifier is more than powerful enough for the smaller room. Should some exceptionally loud signal threaten overload, the normal annoying distortion effects are tamed by our Bass Overload Suppression System circuitry. The ASW300 accepts line level and speaker level inputs and has a choice of equalisation, enabling the response to be tailored to your room.
