Take power management to a new level with the Richard Gray Extender IP. The newest addition to the Extender line of RGPC products, the Extender IP not only adds additional outlets to your installation, but extends your ability to control your installations. The Extender IP is the perfect addition to any custom installation where control and ser vice are critical. The Extender IP's 8 rear outlets can be individually controlled or used as a group via either an Ethernet or 232 interface. This interface enables you un paralleled levels of control in your installations whether you are at the job site, or in your office. Remotely turn each outlet on or off, reboot outlets, set a sequential turn on/off sequence, or simply enable/disable the outlet. Each outlet can even ping' an IP address at user-configured intervals to predict a lock up and automatically reboot the outlet if the ping receives no response. Utilizing our “Outlet Grouping” functionality, you can conveniently pair like components such as: Sources, amplifiers, media servers. In this way, in the event of a lock up, the entire group can be rebooted remotely saving a costly ser vice trip for the installer and minimizing downtime for the consumer. Like the Extender and the Extender Pro, the Extender IP is designed to work in conjunction with an RGPC product for optimal performance. The Extender IP has eight individual outlets that have a corresponding indicator on the front panel. It ships with a detachable 12 AWG 20 Amp detachable power cord and is rack mountable (1U) right out of the box.
