Satellite Speakers
What are Satellite Speakers?
A satellite speaker is a small speaker which usually plays back only the high frequencies and possibly part of the midrange sound, depending on the speaker. Satellite speakers can be placed as front or rear speakers in a surround sound system. If satellite speakers are the only type of speaker used in the surround sound system a subwoofer is a definite requirement.
